Commander Tilahun Tsegaye, Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Nominees
Speaking at the launching ceremony held at Skylight Hotel in connection with the 60th anniversary celebration of Commercial Nominees PLC(CN), the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Commander Tilahun Tsegaye, stated that beyond the outsourcing services currently being provided by the company, CN will work diligently to become a competitive company at the African level by introducing new services that ensure customer satisfaction and expand the institution’s revenue diversification.
Commander Tilahun further explained in detail that, in line with the direction clearly outlined in the company’s strategic plan, Commercial Nominees plans to engage in the textile industry, chemical and detergent manufacturing, production of cleaning equipment, real estate development, overseas manpower supply services, electric vehicle charging station services, modern solid waste management, various training services, and other sectors.
In his remarks during the program, Mr.Ephrem Mekuria, Corporate Services Executive Vice President of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia and Board Member of Commercial Nominees, stated that Commercial Nominees has made significant contributions to national development and economic growth by serving customers across different parts of the country with dedication and loyalty for six decades.
Mr. Ephrem also noted that, after reviewing its 60-year journey and renewing itself like an eagle, CN is preparing to provide technology supported services to its customers in the future.
While celebrating its 60th anniversary under the theme “60 Years of Loyalty,” Commercial Nominees expressed gratitude to its long-time stakeholders, customers, and employees who have worked alongside the institution for many years, and also presented recognition awards.
In addition, former senior executives who led Commercial Nominees during its long 60 years journey, as well as diligent employees who served the company for many years, attended the program, shared their experiences, and expressed their best wishes for the company.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials from various governmental and non-governmental institutions, including Mr. Kasahun Follo, President of the Confederation of Ethiopian Trade Unions, and Mr. Zemedeneh Negatu, Chief Executive Officer of CBE Capital, along with Vice Presidents of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia.
