Commercial Nominees has conducted a kick-off discussion to initiate preparatory activities for the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
The company has signed an agreement with Exceed IT Systems to deploy the system, which aims to modernize its human resources, finance, and procurement management in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
As highlighted during the opening session, the system will enable Commercial Nominees to modernize its resource management and service delivery by integrating its human resources, finance, procurement, and, over time, other internal processes through technology.
During the discussion, the CEO of Commercial Nominees, Commander Tilahun Tsegaye, emphasized that for the successful implementation of the ERP system, the organization’s leadership must give due attention to preparatory activities. This includes organizing high-quality data and creating adequate awareness among staff about the benefits of the system.
Mr. Mekonnen Tekea, marketing manager from Exceed IT Systems presented on the preparatory phase of the ERP implementation and stated that they will work closely with Commercial Nominees to deliver the system within the agreed timeframe and required quality standards.
It was also noted during the discussion that it will take approximately seven months to complete system development and data organization before moving into the pilot implementation phase.
