To mark the Ethiopian Christmas, Commercial Nominees PLC(CN) shared festive meals with low-income community members in Kirkos and Akaki Kality sub cities.
The meal-sharing ceremony held in Woreda 03 of Kirkos Sub city was attended by CN Chief Business Officer, Mr. Gebrehiwot Getahun; Bole Branch Manager, W/ro Seble Wengel; and the Executive Head of Kirkos Sub city Woreda 03, Mr. Chala Cheru. The officials jointly took part in sharing meals with beneficiaries.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Gebrehiwot Getahun stated that, alongside its efforts to create employment opportunities for many citizens, CN continues to strengthen its support for low-income segments of society as part of its corporate social responsibility.
For his part, Mr. Chala Cheru noted that CN has been working closely with the woreda administration and providing essential support. He further called on the company to sustain its assistance in future meal-sharing initiatives organized by the woreda.
CN Bole Branch Manager W/ro Seble Wengel said the branch is working in collaboration with relevant woreda employment officials to create job opportunities. She also expressed her wishes for the holiday to be a time of peace, health, and mutual support.
A similar meal-sharing program was held in Akaki Kality Sub-city, attended by CN Chief Support Officer W/ro Meseret Habtamu; Kality Branch Manager Mr. Tamirat Dawit; and Akaki Kality Sub-city Director for Land Development and Administration, Mr. Yohannes Abate.
In both sub-cities, food items including flour and cooking oil worth more than 100,000 birr were distributed to beneficiaries as part of the meal-sharing initiatives.
