Commercial Nominees has been highlighted as a living example that institutions can achieve success by upholding integrity as a core principle. Marking its 60th anniversary under the theme “60 Years of Trust,” the company organized a vibrant 5-kilometer street race in Hawassa city.
In his opening remarks, CEO Commander Tilahun Tsegaye stated that Commercial Nominees has been delivering successful services across various sectors nationwide, leaving a notable mark particularly in the security service industry. He added that hosting the event in Hawassa reflects the company’s partnership with the rapidly growing city.
Olympic and World Champion gold medalist Gezehagne Abera noted that the company’s six decades of success are rooted in perseverance and integrity. He emphasized that Commercial Nominees stands as clear evidence that both institutions and individuals can succeed by making integrity their guiding principle.
The Hawassa City Mayor praised the company’s 60-year contribution to the national economy and called for stronger collaboration to support ongoing development projects. Winners of the race received cash prizes and medals, while the company also contributed 500,000 birr to the city administration. Sponsors and supporting institutions were recognized, and participants noted that the event strengthened community engagement and sports culture in the city.
