CN Inaugurates Modern Training Center to Enhance Service Excellence and Workforce Development

Commercial Nominees PLC has officially inaugurated a modern training center aimed at enhancing service quality and strengthening professional human resource development in Ethiopia’s outsourcing sector. The inauguration comes as the company celebrates its 60th anniversary, marking a major milestone in its history. The newly established center is expected to play a key role in improving workforce competence and elevating the institution’s service standards to a higher level.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior government officials, executives, stakeholders, and invited guests. Among those present were the Chairperson of the Commercial Nominees Board and Vice President for International Banking at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, H.E Yonas Lidetu; President of the Confederation of Ethiopian Trade Unions, H.E Kasahun Folo; Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Nominees, Commander Tilahun Tsegaye; and Head of the Addis Ababa Justice Bureau, Honorable Tekle Bezabeh.

Speaking at the event, Commander Tilahun Tsegaye said the establishment of the training center demonstrates the company’s strong commitment to human capital development and service excellence. He noted that the center represents a new chapter in the institution’s transformation journey and will support the company’s strategic ambition of becoming a competitive and preferred service provider not only in Ethiopia but also across Africa. He further called on partner organizations and stakeholders to utilize the center’s comprehensive training opportunities collaboratively.

Built on a 1,400-square-meter area, the new facility includes modern training halls, meeting rooms, practical showrooms for cleaning equipment and machinery, a cafeteria, laundry services, advanced internet connectivity, audiovisual systems, security infrastructure, and backup power supply. The center will provide short- and medium-term training programs focusing on technical skills, ethics, customer service, security science, and leadership development. Commercial Nominees currently operates through 32 branches nationwide and has created permanent employment opportunities for more than 40,000 citizens, while also earning repeated national recognition for its strong revenue growth and consistent tax contributions.
