The Board of Directors of Commercial Nominees has reviewed the company’s plan for the 2026/27 fiscal year, assessing the planned targets against the organization’s strategic objectives.
During the fiscal year, the company plans to generate more than ETB 8.5 billion in revenue and achieve over ETB 1.1 billion in profit before tax. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the plan reflects a 30 percent increase in projected revenue and a 57 percent increase in projected gross profit.
The Board also reviewed the annual plan in light of the company’s strategic priorities, including introducing new products and services to the market, implementing key strategic initiatives, delivering superior customer service, and strengthening CN’s position as a competitive and preferred company not only in Ethiopia but also across East Africa. During the discussion, Board members provided comments and recommendations on areas requiring further refinement before implementation.
As part of its 2026/27 fiscal year plan, the company also intends to diversify its revenue streams by launching new business ventures. These include overseas employment placement services, importing cleaning equipment for the domestic market, electric vehicle charging services, mechanized road cleaning services using modern road-sweeping machines, training services, and other emerging business areas.
